Hi! My name is Elliot, and I am 15 years old. I have 5 acres located in El Dorado County, California, where I proudly raise, breed, and sell quality Nigerian Dwarf and (coming soon) Toggenburg goats. Scrappy Acres began as a 4-H project to get involved with the community, but has become a passion. My goal is to have a large herd with structurally correct, productive does that thrive in the ring.
At Scrappy Acres, my mission is to breed quality ADGA-registered goats that excel in the ring, have great milk production, and live happy, healthy lives. I focus on sound structure, productivity, and ethical care—because great goats start with great lives.
Herd Management
My herd management protocol includes feeding both alfalfa hay & pellets, grain (when milking), and minerals, both loose and blocks. Hooves are trimmed monthly, and selenium vitamin E paste is given. I give copper boluses (as needed) every 6 months. All does over the age of 1 are annually tested for Jhones, CAE, & Cl. Negative test results will be shown when buying a goat from me. I also give CD&T vaccinations at 6 & 8 weeks, and then every 6 months for adults.
